When does the program launch?
The Honest Waste Collection Program officially launches on 1 June 2026. Until then, everything continues as normal (your existing collection schedule and payment arrangements stay in place). Your first Xendit payment covers the month of June, so you'll be all set from day one.
What actually changes for me?
Two things are changing: you will receive a complete two-bin system, one recycling bin and one general waste bin and your payments will move to a simple auto-debit monthly billing system instead of manual invoicing.
I already have a recycling bin or a general waste bin. What happens?
You'll receive the missing bin.
If you already have general waste bins, great keep using them. No need to purchase new ones. The only requirement is an Honest Recycling Bin (Rp 300,000 one-time purchase), which all customers need to join the recycling program. This ensures our collection team can easily identify and collect your recyclables.
If you already have an Honest Recycling Bin, you will need to purchase or newly developed Honest bin. This bin is bigger and stronger than before. You'll also need a general waste bin (Rp 550,000 one-time purchase).
Already have both? Then all you need to do is register for the automatic payment system.
What if I need extra bins?
Households or villas who need extra bins, get in touch and we'll adjust your plan. Businesses are quoted based on total bin count.
How often will my waste be collected?
Your recycling bin is collected weekly by Honest Made. Your general waste bin is collected by your local waste collector. Your exact collection day will be confirmed via WhatsApp within 24 hours of sign-up.
How does billing work?
All payments are via secure monthly auto-debit through Xendit. Your subscription is charged automatically each month. No invoices, no cash.
When will I be charged each month?
Xendit auto-debits your monthly fee at the beginning of each month. So for example, you'll be charged at the start of July for the full month of July's collection.
What happens if I miss the payment or the payment is rejected?
If a payment is missed or rejected, you will automatically receive an email reminder with a payment link to complete your payment. If payment is not completed after three reminders, your subscription will be paused and waste collection will stop until the account is reactivated.
Is the price the same everywhere?
Yes. Households pay Rp 500,000/month regardless of location; Kuta, Selong Belanak, Mawun, Air Guling, Tampah, Lancing, Ngolang or Gerupuk. Same service, same price.
Submit a business enquiry on our website. We'll review your needs and send a custom invoice within 24 hours. Once paid, you're enrolled in monthly auto-debit.
What are the contract terms?
There is no minimum contract or lock-in period. The subscription runs month to month and you can cancel anytime via WhatsApp or email at info@honest-made.com.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime. Message us on WhatsApp or email info@honest-made.com. Service stays active until the end of your paid month. Bin purchases are non-refundable.
What do you do with the recyclables?
All recyclables go to the Honest Made factory in Kuta, Lombok where we process glass, all plastics, cans and cardboard into new products. Nothing from your Honest Bin goes to landfill.
I already have a waste collector. Do I need to change?
No. Contact your local waste collector to let them know you're signing up for the Honest Waste Collection Program, they'll already know about it. Their job stays exactly the same. The only difference for you is smoother billing (auto-debited monthly) and recycling collection added on top. One subscription. Everything managed.
Who are the local waste collectors involved?
We work with a network of trusted local waste collectors across South Lombok. In most areas, your existing collector is already part of our network. When you sign up, we'll confirm exactly who handles your general waste collection and when.
